Knitting for a Man

Y'all know it is that time of year. Trying to decide what you are going to knit for "him".

Could be your dad, brother, or significant honey ;o)

I swear I said I was not knitting for anyone this holiday season.....and I am NOT!

But this is just to help you all out if you haven't started on it yet.

Here are some new books, and some oldies too! Hope it helps you to get your knitting juices flowing for him!

   I'm not knitting for gifts either. Tony's sweater doesn't count lol. Oh, I am doing washcloths for my mom, but that is so small it doesn't count either lol.

   I vowed when I first started knitting that I would NOT knit something for the Honey. I've heard too many horror stories about knitting for the boyfriend and ending in disaster. But lately he's been interested in what I'm knitting and the whole process... maybe next year??????

   Hey girl! I luv your blog! I am a friend of heartstrings and told her about your blog. We are new bloggers and I am a yr-old knitter. I love reading what you are up to! I have yet to knit something for my superman, so he may get a scarf this year LOL! My dad is deceased but I think he would have been the man I would really do some knitting for. I'm just learing how to post and I'm taking pics now to prepare to upload this week. It's really nice to meet you!

   I just bought Knitting For Him last week and it is great! I've been looking for the Manual and SNB so I could flip through them, but haven't found them yet!
   
   I am knitting for those who live with me, and I'm getting a very poor start!

   I haven't seen the first two books before, but they look good - and I am dying to get my hands on the SNB one as I like her other books.

   SSSHHHHeeee! I vowed never to make another for my DH. First of all it was massive, I had to frog it a couple of times and after I finished it, I think he wore it once. I don't think I'm goin' down that road again!
