Blogstalking XX: My Trend Year

Over the weekend I took notice that I've really been into a few items lately and call it "My Trend Year" of the:

Fedora Hats (for a little swagger when I decide to 'paint' the town Haha)
Rose Rings (just can't get enough of these!!)
And the luv of actually wearing purple lately (down to the toe nails)
Got those cute purple hot pants for a steal!! (and there goes my rose theme again)

    OMG that purple is calling mee!!! I am making a purple jacket right now and have been accumulating purple fabric like no ones business. LOL!! Love the rose rings too!

    HONEY THE CLEAR BELT!!! I have been obsessing since Mrs. Michelle Obama wore hers on the cover of Oprah!!! I am also IN LURVE with HUGE cocktail rings! I have a BIG BLINGED out *wanna be* diamond one that is GORGEOUS!!!! As far as colors go...YELLOW lol. I went fabric shopping with my mom last week and EVERYTHING I picked up was yellow lol. Ok...now you got me excited! LOL

    I love purple. Where I come from, hot pants are the same things as booty shorts. I didn't know you had it in you. Hey, if I still had the figure I might be tempted too.

    I love the hats! I'm also a big fan of hats. I buy them at various "high-end" thrift shops -- they're really inexpensive that way, and the vintage hats were really well made.

    That's a seriously great pair of shoes!

    Me, I'm still doing the black thing... although for me, this has been the year of the vest. I have a vest I wear all the time. I'm knitting one vest and already have the yarn for another. Vests are such a great way to look put together without freezing one's backside off. I guess that's my "trend" for the year -- as much as I ever do trends.

    Oh yes i like the rose rings as well and you can never go wrong with purple. but hubby says i have to much of it lol

    I don't follow trends. I wear long sleeves, long pants or dresses day in and day out. My jewelery is a wedding band. Grandboy broke my thin gold cross necklace for now. I wear plain colors though because I do love Vera Bradley printed bags! Oh, I love your fedoras. Had one last year in the summer, bought at a concert to protect my head from the sun. This year the old cat got in the closet and barfed inside it, thus rendering it ruined.
