What is that peeking out at you?

Come on! You know that ball band anywhere!
Is that some scrumptious Debbie Bliss? :o)

I must admit I have yet to knit with her yarn *gasp* But it has been sitting over here patiently waiting on me! LOL
These two balls (or maybe just one of them) of DB Cashmerino Aran will birth into the beautiful fingerless gloves that everyone has knitted up called the Fetching.
This will be done with the Charlotte Purls Fingerless Glove KAL we are doing!
There is also a blog - Fingerless Glove KAL that you could be involved in as well. These cute items are a hit in the fashonible knitting world!
And trouble is not trouble unless it has a twin!

Yep some very nice DB Cashmerino Superchunky that will eventually be a cute cable caplet.
Speaking of cables, last week was the 1st time I picked up a cable needle! How in the world am I hosting a KAL that has some serious cables in it?! LOL :op
Be sure you check out the Silver Belle KAL it has been hopping and popping over there with lots of beautiful finished Belles!
Also, since I am new to cabling (which so far really isn't that bad) I joined the Fall Cable KAL 2007 as well. :oD
Y'all should know by now I join KALs to keep me motivated, on track, and for that extra boost of courage in trying something new! :o)
My 1st project so far is a cable hat! More to come about that in the future.
Since everyone is rushing fall and it really is just around the corner (even though it won't get cold here until November!) I guess I need to crank out these last few summer items pretty quickly! Huh? Haha!
Keep on Knitting!

You're going to love the cable! I haven't cabled in a while, but my current knit-along involves finishing my cabled scarf and it's such a fun knit. Now that I think about it, it's funny that I put it away for so long, when I apparently love it so much right now! I must have some inner conflict going on here!!

Fetching is going to look great with that yarn! I've been wanting to try that pattern, but must.not.add.to.queue!

I love cabling! Although I've never used a cable needle (I just use a dpt needle) You are going to love it.

I try to join KAL's for the same reason...but then I end up working on something else. Sigh. I think I'll check out some of yours! :D

Pretty yarn. I've petted it before, but the only Debbie Bliss I've ever purchased was for my last dishcloth pal...

I own a cable needle. Does that count for something!?

OK, this isn't about your yarn or the Tuesday blogpost.

This is about me grovelling for forgiveness 'cause I am very late for a very important date.

See, I'm one of the nice people who offered to clean up after your wayward pal from Secret Pal 10... only I'm very, very slow and apparently getting to the post office is the hardest thing in the world.

But it's all good news from here: first, the package is on its way. You should have it Thursday or Friday.

Second, because I felt guilty about my total lame-ocity, I included bonus yarn and pattern to help make some points back.

Enjoy your package, sorry about the wait, thanks in advance for not saying nasty things about me all over the innernets (though I'd certainly understand).

    XOXO

I love Debbie Bliss yarn. In those colours, it's edible!

Cabling is like anything else, once you get one done, the rest is easy peasy (gulp)! I haven't done it in years. I'm hoping it's like riding a bike....

I enjoy KALs, they do inspire you to keep up with a project and learn all of the little nuances to a pattern. thanks for sharing those.

Very nice! I have yet to meet a red or pink I didn't like. I haven't tried any Debbie Bliss yarns yet either. I plan to rectify this when I come home in October.
