Just a little bit of knitting going on *gasp AND on straight needles* (not by choice Haha)...really not much (a simple scarf)...but it's something!! :)

Well, at least you started your project. I only knitted my swatch today, so I can't do anything till tomorrow. (technically later today; it's 1:17 a.m. lol!!) So good for you for getting something crafted!

I'm working on a garter stitch project in the same exact shade and same exact yarn. Crazy! And the therapeutic power of garter can't be denied.

Inch by inch, and it's a hobby, so it can be whatever you need/want it to be, right?! I know the color speaks volumes for you too.

Glad to see you back in blogland and easing your way back into crafting. Love the yarn color and the simplicity of a garter stitch scarf can never go wrong. I'm mostly crocheting baby afghans for a new granddaughter due to arrive in January (Ravelry ID - Peppermintpattie). You're in my thoughts and prayers.

I'm very concerned about my own mojo so I know what you're going through. Lately when I'm knitting it feels so forced. I hope it's just a phase, because I still really want all the projects I drool over.

That's a lovely purple! I hope it's bringing you joy and peace and warmth. I love garter stitch for its meditative, rhythmic quality. Knit, knit, knit, knit... then knit some more. Can't be beat.

I only want to see you laughing in the purple rain.

I never wanted to be your weekend lover. I only wanted to be some kind of friend....

Same, same, same! I am knitting squares that will eventually go to Africa after being stitched into blankets. The beauty is that I don't have to stitch them together! I am just doing my little part. Plus working away on a log cabin.
